About Eden's Child

Eden’s Child Foundation supports families and communities in Rwanda by covering the sponsored child’s school fees, providing scholastic materials such as uniform, books, pens, pencils and shoes, distributing essential / hygiene materials, providing medical insurance and co-pay for medical fees for the child and his/her family, and sponsoring youth-focused initiatives (art and craft, computer training).  In partnership with Eden Temple International, we also ensure regular distributions of food items, particularly rice and beans, to all families in the Eden’s Child program.

Statement of Faith

As a Christian non-profit organization, we believe God has revealed the truth about Himself in the scriptures, which are our authoritative guide in faith and action.

Furthermore, we affirm the Apostles Creed as a creedal statement that clearly expresses Christian orthodoxy and our deepest theological convictions.

Apostles Creed:

We believe in God,

the Father almighty,

Creator of heaven and earth,

and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,

who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,

born of the Virgin Mary,

suffered under Pontius Pilate,

was crucified, died and was buried;

he descended into hell;

on the third day he rose again from the dead;

he ascended into heaven,

and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty;

from there he will come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,

the one universal church made up of all Jesus followers everywhere*

the communion of saints,

the forgiveness of sins,

the resurrection of the body,

and life everlasting.

Amen.

*Original version uses the language one holy catholic church with catholic meaning universal.
